The mission of our organization is to create and offer to the community spiritual-scientific information, training and support alternatives joining the Church experience with the newest methods of the social sciences.

1.Developing an alternative, methodological system of education and support, which will come help the needs of different persons and institutions through: - supporting information and education activities like: round tables, symposiums, conferences, exchanges of experience, seminaries, formation trainings, editing publications; - supporting disabled people through special informing programmes, listening, counsiling and social work. - Collaboration and development of partnerships with other institutions and organizations 2. Supporting the developing of the parishes’ communities as centers of interactive moral - spiritual formation and supporting of the human beeing through: - offering formation trainings and seminaries for priests, clergymen"s wives and other categories of faithfuls - organizing meetings, conferences, debates in the parishes; - supporting specific activities of social work in the parishes; 3. Informing the public opinion, the authorities and the public services through: - organizing conferences, seminaries, round tables, debates, radio and TV shows, etc; - editing paper, audio and video publications; - lobby for improving the legal and institutional framework.

1. 1. Our association has personnel specialized in working with people having emotional and psychical problems, with an original character of the approaching and healing process.

2. Based on the volunteering of its own personnel (nuns from St Siluan Monastery), The Association needs financial support only for maintaining and continuation of the counsiling, formation and helping activities

3. The help given to the beneficiaries is based on combining the methods specific to contemporary sciences with elements of orthodox therapeutics

1. The project “Alcoholism – a problem” which is developing during the year 2007 financed by World Vision, destined to a number of 5 villages affected by alcohol. The project has as the main activities: the training of the priests in the counseling of the persons who are addicted to alcohol, information campaigns about alcoholism, courses with community members for training a support group in the alcohol problems inside the community. 2. The project of Assistance, therapy and ART rehabilitation for You(ng) financed by the Dutch Foundations. The project started in November 2006 and is developing during one year. It purpose is the assistance and helping a number of 100 young people with emotional problems and/or mental from Craiova. 3. Young man, dare and ask! still developing – is a program addressed to young people from high-schools which are interested to ask about their problems and to find out the Orthodox Church perspective for resolving and cure. 4. “I was locked and you searched Me” is a program addressed to The Juvenile and Under Age Prison and The Maximum Safety Prison from Craiova. The lifetime prisoners benefit of individual counseling, the female prisoners which are in detention under remand are included in the seminar “The art of facing the conflicts”, the under age prisoners participate at the seminar “The art of facing the conflicts”. The program is financed by World Vision and is developing during the whole year 2007.

The money from donations we intend to use them in: - continuing the counseling and helping activities for the persons who are in need: prisoners, young people with emotional or mental problems. - creating the supporting groups for different problems such as: mental illness, alcoholism, codependence and their support. - The organization development.
